Pisco Heron is a limited edition of 1800 bottles, specially made in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of La Maison du Whiskey de Paris, distributed throughout Europe and today available in Chile only through waqarstore.cl
It is a pisco aged for six long years in French oak barrels. Its prolonged contact with the wood gives it a highly complex dimension, tasty, with a vanilla and toasted aroma. However, it still maintains its aromatic and gustatory freshness, from its fruity origin.
Golden yellow. Initially, whole bunches of grapes literally jump out of the glass. This fruity and crunchy approach is held together by very pure distillate and very smooth wood. Perfectly in line with the nose, the resulting attack is citrus. The mid-palate is creamy and honeyed. Highly complex, it persists in notes of sugary almonds and candied fruits, peaches. The retro-nasal smell is also marked by notes of loquat, lilies and citrus zest.
